In China cosmetic Acupuncture was used as
long ago as the Sung Dynasty, 3000 BC and was used by the Emperors
concubines and the Empress herself to maintain youthfulness. The
effectiveness of acupuncture has been related to the manipulation of the
energy points on the body to balance the Qi and remove blockages in the
meridians (channels of blood and energy), in order to achieve health and
to prevent disease.
It involves the insertion of tiny needles on acupuncture points on the
face and body, based on the ancient principles of traditional Chinese
Medicine, cosmetic acupuncture works to increase the circulation of energy
and blood to the face and increase collagen production. Cosmetic
acupuncture also works to decrease stress and improve general health,
which also benefits the facial appearance.
Acupuncture facelifts are a safe and effective way to reduce lines and
wrinkles from the face, puffy eyes, dark circles under the eyes, double
chin and sagging skin, there by reducing the signs of aging and providing
a more youthful look with a healthy glowing complexion.
Cosmetic acupuncture facelifts have been used in the west for many years,

menstrual discomfort, fewer hot flashes, decreased acne breakouts and less
TMJ symptons, such as teeth grinding.
The treatment is usually 12 half hour sessions on twice weekly basis with
visible results showing after the first 3 to 6 sessions, a once or twice
monthly visit after the
